Questions

About the duas

Where do these duas come from?

From Hisn al-Muslim (Fortress of the Muslim) by Sa‘id al-Qahtani, a well-known collection of supplications from the Quran and the Sunnah. We copy the Arabic, the transliteration and the English meaning exactly as published.

Can I listen to the duas?

Yes. Press Listen on any dua to hear it recited. The Quran recitation pauses while a dua plays and continues afterwards.

Do I have to say the dua in Arabic?

Saying the words the Prophet ﷺ used is best, so the Arabic is given with a transliteration to help you learn it. You can always call on Allah in your own language as well.
